WHAT DOES KOL HALAYLA MEAN?

Kol Halayla is Hebrew for Voice of the Night. Here at Rutgers, we translate it a little loosely as Voice of the (K)night.

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU SING?

Kol Halayla has an extremely diverse repertoire. Although we classify ourselves as a Jewish A Cappella group, we sing Hebrew, Jewish, Israeli, Secular and American pop music of all kinds!

DO YOU HAVE TO BE JEWISH TO BE IN KOL HALAYLA?

No.  As a student group at Rutgers University, people of all backgrounds are encouraged to audition for Kol Halayla!
